Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) is an FDA-approved treatment for depression. Our TMS machine uses modern state-of-the-art Brainsway equipment to target depression at the root using simple magnets, unlike ECT which uses electricity. TMS activates certain parts of the brain to "wake up" neurons in regions of the brain, notably the Dorsal Lateral Prefrontal Cortex (dl-pfc) and has extremely limited side effects - unlike medications. TMS also has numerous protocols that our office uses to address a range of mental conditions. We have many TMS specialists who will customize your unique program.
