The best free and low-cost internet option is the new FCC Approved Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) with offers eligible low-income households up to $30 per month discount on internet service (and up to $75 per month if you live in tribal areas).
Subject to where you live in the USA, free and low-cost internet plans can start as low as $19.99 per month, so those savings enable you to connect for free.
For more discounts, it is recommended looking into two internet options that have been around a bit longer. You may be able to get more discounts thorough these plans with your ACP program benefits.
Option 1:
Avail government support program called “Lifeline”, which offers $9.25 per month discount on either internet or tablet services to low-income adults. The Lifeline offers have fewer savings than the ACP or most internet services providers, but it’s affordable too.
